LOCATION:Gordon Biersch - CE Credit presentation on: Geothermal Heat Pump Systems - Presented by Albert Escobedo of EnLink Geoenergy
DESCRIPTION:http://usgbcnv.org/ViewEvent.ashx?eventId=467159\n\n\n Topic: Geothermal Heat Pump Systems\n Presenters: Albert Escobedo of EnLink Geoenergy\n This course good for 1 HOUR GBCI continuing education\n 4-20-12 Munch _ Learn sign-in sheet\n\n Click here for a copy of the presentation\n\n Geothermal heat pump systems are highly efficient air conditioning and heating systems powered by the moderate and stable temperature of the ground beginning just a few feet below the surface. Also known as ground source heat pumps\, GHP systems are considered both a renewable and demand side efficiency technology. No conventional chillers or boilers are required. According to the U.S. Department of Energy\, GHP systems can save up to 70% of the energy used to heat and cool buildings compared with a conventional HVAC system. GHP systems have been in use for over 40 years\, their efficiencies and benefits are well documented and they can be used for all building types. In addition to the energy savings\, benefits include: water savings\; no on-site use of water or fossil fuels\; reduced peak demand\; environmentally friendly\; and reduced operating and maintenance costs.\n EnLink Geoenergy Services\, Inc. is a turnkey geothermal heat pump system contractor. With over 15 years experience in the industry\, EnLink has continuously provided high quality\, cost effective geothermal heat pump systems for all energy efficiency\, heating and cooling needs. EnLink has worked in over 20 states across the nation on both new construction and retrofit projects for all sectors\, including commercial\, industrial\, government\, institutional\, schools\, lodging\, retail and more.\n This workshop will cover a complete overview of geothermal heat pump systems\, including technology fundamentals\, environmental and financial benefits\, project feasibility\, economics (system costs\, ROIs\, available incentives\, etc.)\, contributions toward LEED certification and an incorporated case study. Learn about geothermal heat pumps from industry experts\, EnLink Geoenergy.\n11:30 AM Gordon Biersch\n 3987 Paradise Rd\n \n Registration Fees \n Member $20 \n Non-Member $35 \n\n (please register before 5pm April 18)\n \n\n Register online or fill out the Registration flyer\n\n
