Community
USGBC Nevada Chapter members and member companies are building the green economy today. Come meet people who are making green jobs happen and making change in their community.
Our members are active in community work that helps USGBCNV achieve its mission to promote and advance healthy, sustainable, socially responsible, and economically viable built environments through collaboration, diversity, education, networking, and environmental stewardship. Below we highlight some recent community projects that our USGBCNV leaders are proud to have helped with.

Recycling Roadshow at the South Valley Relay for Life
USGBC Nevada Chapter partnered with American Cancer Society to bring the USGBCNV Recycling Roadshow to the South Valley Relay for Life. Evergreen Recycling, a Friend of the USGBC Nevada Chapter, donated recycling services and reusable water bottles for every Relay participant. This was the Roadshow's debut appearance, and we recycled 265 lbs of waste.
If you're interested in having the Recycling Roadshow provide recycling and green building information at your community event, please contact Sarah Mojzer, sarah@usgbcnv.org.
We welcome your green community event in our calendar! Please submit event information to communications@usgbcnv.org.
