Join us to see what lessons can be learned from this recently Platinum Certified LEED project here in the valley. The Lower Colorado Regional Office Green Building was LEED Platinum Certified on November 7th, 2012. The project is an interactive office and learning model that has incorporated a large renewable energy component, with a central plant that takes care of 2 other future LEED Certified buildings as well. The project additionally earned a LEED Pilot Credit for its water reuse system that reduces potable water demand. Add to this being required to conform to SHPO Historical Viewshed requirements in addition to bringing together for a first time approximately 180 employees within one high performing, healthy, energy efficient facility.
